Samantha Ward
Samantha’s artistic ability has always come naturally through her passion for colour and love of the imagination. She is inspired by colour, shapes and personalities of nature, from animals and plants to fruits and trees.
Samantha has been drawing from a very early age; her main ambition is to create paintings for others' enjoyment; paintings and prints that not only look good and add interior flare, but also help make people's homes a happier place.
Her art is created with an interior design mindset: each painting produced uses highlights of colours which help to create a desired tonal mood in a room. Her latest pieces for Art Roundhay Park are based on Edward Bulmer’s natural paint colour ‘Jonquil.’ Samantha’s paintings are very popular as assets for home styling and colour coordination.
Born in Leeds and after studying at Leeds Arts University and Leeds University, she moved to London where she now lives with her young family, working out of her studio in Wimbledon.
